You've got it. Big Brother! - the Government The 1 Minute laugh Fred and John were fortunate enough to have season tickets to their favorite hockey team games. They couldn't help noticing that there was always a vacant seat (B14) next to them, and they had a friend who would love to but a season ticket, especially if all three could have seats together. One day, after the first period, Fred went to the ticket office and asked if he could buy the season ticket for seat B14. The cashier said that unfortunately the ticket had been sold. However, week after week, the seat was still vacant. Then on Boxing Day, much to Fred and John's surprise, the seat was taken for the first time that season. John could not resist asking the newcomer, "Where have you been all season." "Don't ask," he said. "My wife bought the season ticket last summer, and kept it for a surprise Christmas present." Kids are funny! "I am happy to see you, " the little boy said to his grandma when she arrived at their house. "Now maybe daddy will do the trick he has been promising us." Grandma was curious, "What trick is that?' "Well I heard my dad tell mommy that he will climb the walls if you come to visit," the boy replied. We are socializing less - because of self-entertainment opportunities, no time, and no inclination. We are more stressed - with work and personal responsibilities. We are less active physically - everything is available at the press of a button.
